Among the numerous ways that the Covid-19 pandemic has changed our world, was the widespread adoption of self-taping our auditions at home.  The problem is however, that many actors don’t have the desire, the technical knowledge or the space to create and submit high quality auditions that casting directors desire. 

With that in mind, it’s a genuine treat for me to be able to use my decades of behind the camera, network television experience to help my fellow actors. I have a spacious, well equipped home studio, and the technical know-how so that during their self tapes my actors can focus on what they do best: their acting. Given my years of providing direction to everyone from A-listers to non-actors, I love to work with all levels of actors to help them bring their best on- camera work to life….

Star Point Video Productions was created in the early 1980’s with a simple mission to bring together high quality video production, and truly team oriented professionalism. Our international client base throughout the years has ranged from the highest levels of Network Television and Film…to the most respected corporate and industrial names in the world. Our work has garnered multiple Emmy Awards, and was an integral part of a team that brought home a Peabody Award as well.

THE SELF TAPE SOLUTION

What we now offer is the solution to the technical and creative challenges that face most working actors. We take away the hassle of the technical end of capturing high quality video auditions. Then we add in the bonus of offering coaching and directing the actor, based on decades of experience of guiding everyone from the most well known names in the entertainment world, down to those who have never stepped in front of the camera before. We personalize our services to the needs of the individual actor.

Our Services

  • If all you need is a reader, whether in person or via Zoom, we are here for you at a rate of $35/30 Minutes or $50/Hour.

  • The actor won’t leave until their high quality self tape audition has been coached, recorded, edited and submitted at a rate of $100

  • For those crazy involved, and last minute auditions, we can add an off camera teleprompter to our Full Service package for an additional $25
